The couple lives primarily in Washington State. Therefore, which requires divorcing spouses to equitably divide “community property,” including all income generated during a marriage. “It seems very likely, if not 100% certainty. Hence, that whatever Jeff Bezos has earned at Amazon has been community income,” says David Starks, a partner at the Seattle-based law firm McKinley Irvin. He added, however, that through a prenuptial or postnuptial agreement, “You can elect to have your assets treated differently. And that’s not uncommon.”

If MacKenzie Bezos, 48, does indeed receive half of her husband’s assets. Hence, she would be worth more than $68 billion, making her the fifth-richest person in the world. Even a 1% payout would constitute one of the largest divorce settlements in history.

Tumblr Will Purge Adult Content In December 17th

Tumblr, the online blogging site owned by Verizon since its July 2016 acquisition of Yahoo, will ban adult content beginning Dec. 17, 2018. Hence, in a move that will eradicate porn-related communities on the platform and fundamentally alter how the service is used.

The Ban

(Source: independent)

The ban includes explicit sexual content and nudity with a few exceptions, the company tells The Verge. The new policy’s announcement comes just days after Tumblr was removed from Apple’s iOS App Store. Because of a child pornography incident, but it extends far beyond that matter alone. “Adult content will no longer be allowed here,” the company flatly stated in a blog post published on Monday.

(Source: Kasperskydaily)

Banned content includes photos, videos, and GIFs of human genitalia, female-presenting nipples, and any media involving sex acts, including illustrations. The exceptions include nude classical statues and political protests that feature nudity.

(Source: theoutline)

The new guidelines exclude text, so erotica remains permitted. Illustrations and art that feature nudity are still okay. Hence as long as sex acts aren’t depicted. And so are breastfeeding and after-birth photos.

What Happen After December 17th?

(Source: Mashable)

After December 17th, any explicit posts will be flagged and deleted by algorithms. For now, Tumblr is emailing users who have posted adult content flagged by algorithms. Also, notifying them that their content will soon be hidden from view.

Posts with porn content will be set to private. Which will prevent them from being reblogged or shared elsewhere in the Tumblr community.

(Source: Dinamo)

Users have a chance to appeal to Tumblr’s decision in situations where they think there’s been a mistake. Also, the platform admits there’s a chance that the automated tools it’s using could make errors.

It’s a process that could take a while, as a bulk of Tumblr posts feature explicit content. Users who run adult blogs can also export their content. Before the change takes place in order to save what they have.

Bitcoin Crash And Burn, Again This Month!

Bitcoin’s moment of relative stability ended abruptly Wednesday.

The cryptocurrency market. Thus including major coins ripple (XRP), ethereum, bitcoin cash, stellar, EOS, and litecoin. Finally have fallen sharply today ahead of a bitcoin cash fork that’s threatening to tear the bitcoin rival apart.

Bitcoin fell below the psychological $6,000 mark for just the second time this year. Thus, amid a wider sell-off that saw almost all major coins fall by at least 10%. Bitcoin dipped below $6,000 in June but quickly climbed back, according to CoinDesk’s price tracker.

(Source: theverge)

That cryptocurrency was down 18 percent ahead of a “hard fork” scheduled for November 15. The two digital currencies will split into “Bitcoin ABC,” or core Bitcoin Cash, and “Bitcoin SV,” short for “Satoshi’s Vision.”. In addition,  Bitcoin Cash itself result of a fork from bitcoin. Hence, after a disagreement on the best way to scale a digital currency.

The History Of Bitcoin Cash

(Source: Twitter)

The hard fork on last August Creates the Bitcoin Cash. That schism motivates with a disagreement about the size of blocks in bitcoin’s blockchain. Therefore, most of bitcoin’s developers favored retaining the 1-megabyte block-size limit that was in effect at the time. Therefore, a hack called segregated witness has increased the effective block size since then,

The hard limit contributed to severe congestion on the bitcoin network. Also, pushing transaction fees up to a median of $34 in mid-December. Hence, Bitcoin Cash supporters created their own version of bitcoin with a much higher 8-megabyte block size limit. Thus allowing this rival version of bitcoin to process many more transactions per second with negligible transaction fees.

Now Bitcoin Cash’s camp of big-block dissidents is about to divide once again. Therefore, the schism pits the maintainers of the leading Bitcoin Cash implementation, called Bitcoin ABC, against Craig Wright.

Wright is one of the most controversial figures in the bitcoin world. He has claimed to be bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto. But his claim is doubted by a number of bitcoin insiders—Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has labeled Wright a “fraud.”

The New Kindle Paperwhite Now Waterproof!

Amazon has introduced the all-new Kindle Paperwhite, it came with a lighter design and water-proof starting from $129.99 for 8gb with ads. The Kindle Paperwhite is a front-lit Kindle e-book reader that offers improved contrast and enables users to easily read in the dark compared to older backlit Kindle devices.

The new Paperwhite incorporates some of the best features from the more expensive Kindle Oasis and Kindle Voyage. While the e-ink screen is the same resolution as the previous model (300 ppi), its display now sits flush with its edges, which means there’s no longer a little edge to catch sand and crumbs.

The Feature

(Source: Wired)

At a millimeter thinner, the new Paperwhite is now 23 grams lighter than the previous model. The new model has an additional built-in LED light to improve lighting uniformity. It’s bath- and pool-friendly, with an IPX8 waterproof-ness rating. Which means it can survive immersion in up to 2 meters of fresh water for up to an hour. There’s also double the storage — 8GB — which can fit thousands of books, magazines, and whatever else you’re reading.

(Source: economictimes)

Amazon really wants you to read on Kindle too. It’s why the company has always built Kindles with six weeks of battery life on a single charge. So, you have no excuse not to read stuff on it. It’s why the company is giving six months of Kindle Unlimited, its $10 per month subscription. Along with the $130 Paperwhite. It’s why you can now add presets for certain formats and save them to Kindle, like a “Gym” preset with giant text, so you can read even when you’re on the treadmill.

The Kindle is still aspirational. It makes you want to read. It’s a relic from a time when not all flights had Wi-Fi. When vacations weren’t interrupted by constant work flutterings when nighttime routines didn’t involve swiping at notifications.

All of which makes it that much more comforting that it doesn’t have Alexa.

Top 5 Brand New Feature And Improvement On iPhone XS And XS Max

Apple has announced a new iPhone on the market. iPhone XS and XS Max. As the name implies, it’s something of an upgrade to the iPhone X. You’ll find the same overall design and major features, with a handful of big improvements.

That doesn’t mean it’s a bore. Quite the contrary: For those who found last year’s iPhone X just a little too expensive for what you get, this year’s improvements might be enough to win you over. Here’s everything you need to know about the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

Brand New A12 Bionic Processor

(Source: Cnet)

The A11 Bionic in the iPhone X and iPhone 8 was the fastest mobile processor on the planet when it was introduced last year. It was so fast, it still outpaces the latest high-end Android phones. With the A12 Bionic, Apple has upped the ante.

Made using advanced 7-nanometer manufacturing technology, Apple claims the high-performance cores on the A12 are up to 15 percent faster than the A11 Bionic while using up to 40 percent less power. The high-efficiency cores use up to 50 percent less power. And GPU performance is up to 50 percent faster.

Those improvements pale in comparison to the seriously beefed-up Neural Engine (for machine learning tasks). It is now capable of a whopping five trillion operations per second, up from 600 billion in the A11.

Larger Screen

(Source: Digitaltrends)

With last year’s iPhone X, you could have any sized display you wanted, provided it was exactly 5.8 inches. This year, Apple has recognized that variety is the spice of life and that some people want a lot of screen real estate on their smartphone. The 5.8-inch size is back with the iPhone XS, but you can also go big with either the 6.1-inch iPhone XR or the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max.

Better Camera

(Source: Theverge)

The new phones support something called Smart HDR, which increases the number of exposures captured when you take a photo. That means more balanced shots, and since Smart HDR does this more quickly than before, you shouldn’t notice any shutter lag when you’re taking pictures.

The dual lens set-up on the iPhone XS and XS Max is the same as what the original iPhone X offered (a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens plus a 12-MP telephoto shooter), but Apple says the sensor is larger on the new models, which should improve the quality of shots captured in low-light settings. We certainly noticed better images when we tested the new phones, though the Pixel 2 XL remains the current standard for camera phones.

Long Lasting Battery

(Source: Boygeniusreport)

The Previous iPhone is already outpacing the average smartphone on battery life. Apple says the new phones should last even longer. That wasn’t the case when we tested and retested the new phones, though the XS Max turned in a time of 10 hours, 38 minutes, which is better than the average smartphone. The iPhone XS’s result was a more ordinary 9 hours, 41 minutes. So if you want a phone that gets you through the day on a single charge, opt for the larger model.

Better Face ID

(Source: 9to5Mac)

Face ID introduced last year with the iPhone X. The process isn’t changing with the new iPhones, which all adopt the X’s home button-free design. But you should be able to unlock your phone or confirm mobile payments faster. Apple says Face ID now has faster algorithms and a faster secure enclave to speed up the facial recognition process.
